With these adjacent numbers worksheets, find two adjacent numbers that either sum or multiply together to produce the target number. This is an excellent resource for learning factors and practicing addition & multiplication.
How does it work?
There are 10 rows of numbers on each sheet. Each row has a target number on the left. Find all the pairs of adjacent numbers in the row which either sum or multiply together to reach that target number. There is at least one, and often several more, pairs of adjacent numbers that solve the problem. The first 5 sheets tackle addition and a further 4 tackle multiplication. The first sheet of each type has a couple of examples already indicated to demonstrating how it works.
