Fractions secret codes worksheets

Alphabet fractions secret codes worksheets are a fun series of worksheets to help with recognising and understanding simple fractions. Solve the secret code by identifying the appropriate letter for each fraction in the answer grid. Find all the letters to reveal the secret hidden word or phrase.

What's included?

There are two sets of secret fractions codes puzzles:

• The first group (A-J) lists all fractions in ascending order (1/2, 1/3, 2/3, 1/4, 2/4, 3/4, etc.) in the key at the top of the page. This makes it easier to locate which letter it is that's associated with the fraction in question.
• In the second group (K-Q), the fractions in the key have been randomised, so it's a bit more challenging to find the right one.

Both sections start off with a sheet that has some of the letters already 'found' and placed into the word grid, to help illustrate how the whole thing works. The sheets in both sections each have 3 puzzles to solve, with the exception of the last sheet in the section, which has a single but longer puzzle that needs to be solved.

• A handy answers sheet has also been included as well as a summary sheet which depicts all the fractions in ascending order.
