How it works

Study each set of cogs & gears and how they are interconnected. Each set has a dark gear with an arrow indicating which direction it will turn. Connected to it are a range of other gears. There is also a white gear. All you have to do is to figure out which way the white gear will turn, if at all, when the dark gear turns in the indicated direction.
