Cut & Play

These print, cut and play resources are an excellent way to disguise learning as play.

How it works

Simply cut out each of the hexagons…and start playing! It’s that simple.

Put the hexagons together in the correct order to form the original image. Each side of each hexagon matches up with the specific side of another hexagon. Match the correct sides together to solve the puzzle and re-create the original image.

Each matching pair of sides can be identified by the number, symbol or image, depending on the product. For example, on the Cut & Play numbers puzzle, you match the number with the dice displaying that same number. With the Cut & Play letters puzzle, you match the upper case letter on one hexagon to the lower case letter on another hexagon, and so on.

Each puzzle has a range of images that can also be used to help solve the grid. There’s also a thick colored outer line that goes around the entire perimeter of each puzzle, to further help identify where each piece goes.
