How it works

Each worksheet has a number of objects of different heights. A ruler along the side can be used to determine the height of each object.

Different scales

As you progress through the worksheets, the scales on the ruler change. The following scales on the rulers are used:

  • 1 to 10 in increments of 1 (displaying all numbers 1-10) with additional notches at the half values.
  • 1 to 10 in increments of 2 (displaying only numbers 2, 4, 6, 8 & 10) with additional notches at the whole and half values.
  • 1 to 10 in increments of 5 (displaying only numbers 5 & 10) with additional notches at the whole and half value.
  • 1 to 10 in increments of 10 (displaying only number 10) with additional notches at the whole and half value.
